20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head with ebony black complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, black brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, dark eyeliner and painted lashes, closed mouth with coral-shaded lips and two sculpted upper teeth, black fleecy wig, black composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 116/A 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: fabulous flawless ebony complexion with fine luminous gleam enhances the character expression, original body and body finish, wonderful cotton romper dress with pattern of little children and piglets.
