Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four teeth, auburn mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with working crier. Condition: generally excellent, one baby finger broken. Marks: Unis France 17 140 301 (head) Au Nain Bleu Paris...(label on torso and costume). Comments: SFBJ, Unis France epoch, circa 1925. Value Points: in fine unplayed with condition, the doll wears her original lavish gown, undergarments and bonnet, with teething ring; both the gown and the doll bearing original labels from the prestige 19th century Parisian doll shop of Au Nain Bleu.
