12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined pale lips, ears pierced into head, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders elbows, hips and knees, square-cut kid collarette. Condition: head excellent, restoration on back of shoulder plate, body finish original. Marks: 0. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1865. Value Points: well-modeled poupee with especially lovely face, original wig and wooden body, with original finish.
