19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes with dot highlights, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space and two beaded teeth between the shaded lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, French composition and wooden fully jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, pretty blue cotton dress with lace trim. Condition: generally excellent, hands repainted. Marks: France SFBJ 247 Paris 10 (head) (original paper label on torso). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1915, the model is known as Twirp and has brass name tag "Twirp". Value Points: very fine quality of bisque with lovely luminous complexion.
