The carved wooden carousel horse posed prancing with flying mane and tail, has glass eyes, well defined features, and unusual brass-armor cover forming the saddle and blanket, and accented with a bounty of colorful "jewels". Structurally excellent, yet in need of paint restoration so sold as is. Late 1800s, a splendid carousel horse with rare and distinctive accents, presented on antique cast iron pedestal.
