20" (51 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder head,blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaed nostrils,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and elbows,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent,curved hairline on bottom of throat. Marks: 5 (head and shoulders). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1875. Value Points: very fine pale bisque contrasts by rich dark eyeliner and lips,beautiful eyes,lovely original rose silk and ivory gown.
