17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated face and strong throat, painted facial features, large blue eyes, painted lashes, heavy eyelids, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette human hair in original elaborate coiffure, all-wooden body with original wooden shoulderplate attached to wooden lower torso with kid collarette, dowel-jointing of shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, metal hands, wearing green taffeta gown with jeweled trim, undergarments, velvet slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Maison Huret (stamp on front torso). Comments: Eliza Prevost, the final successor of Adelaide Huret, circa 1910, during Renaissance of the French Doll epoch, the doll is photographed in The Encyclopedia of French Dolls. Value Points: especially beautiful model with serene expression, lovely bisque and painting.
