23" (58 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head with solid dome,sculpted blonde boyish hair with forelock curl,prominent ears,deeply intaglio dark blue eyes with white eye dots,red and black upper eyeliner,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with well defined space between the smiling outlined lips,two beaded upper teeth,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany 8 7620. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: rare model in fine larger size with super modeling of eyes,mouth,impressed cheek and chin dimple,original body finish,wonderful school boy costume.
