Bisque socket head, narrow blue glass inset eyes, painted brown curly lashes, one-stroke brows, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, French composition fully-jointed body, brunette mohair bobbed wig. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish with some wear on left hand. Marks: SFBJ 229 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: deeply impressed laughter lines and eye crinkles on the cheerful-faced boy, fine bisque, original wig and pate, original body and body finish, wearing antique checkered school smock, trousers, cap, shoes.
