14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, one-stroke brows, blushed cheeks, black mohair wig in braided chignon, jointed shoulders and hips, wearing original Sicilian traditional costume of red felt with yellow felt applique, lace blouse and coiffe, undergarments, red felt shoes and carrying basket. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and paper labels, with inscription Sicilia, #17). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: very fresh and vibrant costume and three original tags.
