Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique cotton dress in the Kate Greenaway manner, sunbonnet, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 13. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful child with loveliest bisque and painting, original wig, pate, body, body finish.
