19" (48 cm.) Each has hand-pressed face with painted complexion and facial features, mohair wig, he with mohair moustache and beard, and cloth body with stitched-on original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American artist, Evelyn Green, mid-1900s. Value Points: the artist is notable for her outstanding costuming, of which this 16th century style lady and gentleman are perfect examples, each wearing well detailed original costume.
