30" (76 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes with rich spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 16 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: fine quality of bisque enhanced by beautiful eyes, original body with original finish.
