Description
Consisting of an oval tinplate stove with
dentillation at the top edges, applied decorative
medallion at the front, small hinged door with
eisenglas window, hinged door at top side, flue
at base. The purpose of the stove was to provide
two fire chambers, one for wood and one for coal.
Patent #3508 was issued to Loammi Bailey of
Boston, Massachusetts on March 26, 1844. The
original patent tag is attached. A photocopy of
the original patent application is included. (One
foot is missing). 8"H.
