20" (51 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair waved loosely from her face, behind her ears, and forming into shaped rolls of curls at the back of head, painted facial features, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, singles stroke brows, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, kid arms with stitched and separated fingers, sewn-on red muslin stockings and black leather boots with tassel trim. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare coiffure, original early body, and wearing beautiful antique gown and undergarments.
