17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of plump-faced woman with blonde sculpted hair with graduated-length ringlet curls framing the face, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, sculpted blue and white beaded necklace with gilt accents, muslin stitch-jointed body with kid arms, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpted necklace, its blue beading exactly matching the eye color.
