14" (36 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very plump facial shape, lightly tinted complexion, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, very dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, sturdy and clean body except left hand worn. Comments: French, circa 1858. Value Points: the beautiful poupee has fine gleaming porcelain and is wearing lovely antique ivory silk satin costume, undergarments, lace cap, parasol, shoes.
