Fine maitrise quality wooden cabinet has double front doors that open to reveal five drawers; the cabinet has ebony finish and is elaborately painted with gold designs on front and sides and an elaborate scene on the lid featuring 25 persons. The double doors open to gilt floral decorations and carved bone knobs. Excellent condition, one knob missing. Late 19th century.
