18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes slightly glancing upward to the right, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full shaded lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 109 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their important art character series, the model marketed as "Elise", circa 1910. Value Points: an especially fine example of the rare art character is notable for outstanding sculpting, especially lush mohair wig, original body and body finish. Private collection Linda Kellermann.
