22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with elongated throat, deeply sculpted blonde curly hair with looped curls under a sculpted blue cap with darker blue outline and ruffled edging, sculpted pierced ears, painted features, blue eyes with dark eyeliner, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted blue neck ruffle with black outlined coral brooch, muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms, nice antique gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880, attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk. Value Points: rarity factors include beautifully sculpted cap and ruffle.
