16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, short dash brows, button-shaped nose, closed mouth modeled as though open, accented lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 590 A 3 M Germany DRGM. Comments: Marseille, from their 500 character series, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderfully captivating expression with impressed dimples in center cheeks and at lip corners, excellent bisque and painting.
