Bisque socket head with slender face, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair up-swept wig, plaster pate, composition body with adult female shape of torso, elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D made in Germany 10 162 (head) Made for G.A. Schwarz Philadelphia Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900, their composition bodied Gibson Girl. Value Points: very fine unplayed with condition, with original body and body finish, original wig, pate, and with rare-to find label of the prestigious Philadelphia store.
