21" (53 cm.) The white mohair teddy with very pronounced snout nose has side-stitched ears, glass eyes, black embroidered nose and mouth, swivel neck, jointed elongated arms, hip-jointed legs, felt paw pads. Included with the bear is a well-worn scrapbook of early photographs with ink-lettered notations, indicating a home and surroundings in Madison, Iowa at the beginning of the 1900s, and featuring several photographs of "Hazel" posed at an outdoor picnic with her dolls and toys, including this very teddy bear. The bear is in well-loved condition with mohair sparseness. Circa 1915.
