Description
14" (35 cm). Composition socket-head, brown sleep
eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, smoky
eyeshadow, bow-shaped closed mouth, blonde mohair
wig with original coiffure and soft curls, five-
piece composition body. Excellent unplayed with
condition with slightest faint lines on face and
limbs, few wear holes in veil and spots on
underskirt. Marks: Mme Alexander (doll and
costume). The bride wears original costume
comprising embroidered tulle wedding gown with
hooped taffeta underslip and bodice, panties,
shoes and socks, pearl necklace, lilies of the
valley on the long trained veil, bouquet of
wedding flowers, and has original gold-paper
label on her wrist. Circa 1940.
