16" (41 cm.) The toy features two bisque-head dolls, each with amber-tinted complexion, black glass eyes, painted black brows and lashes, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, black mohair wig, carton torso and legs, bisque forearms, wearing original silk Japanese costume. One doll is standing in front of a wooden cart as though pulling it, and the other is sitting in the cart. When wound, he walks briskly forward, and she urges him on, waving her arms. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism functions well, one finger chipped on body. Marks: 1079 -2 Dep S&H Germany (boy). Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1910.
