Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted dark lashes and brows with enhancing glaze, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, dimpled chin, separately modeled pierced ears, antique brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 13 (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body stamp). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1888. Value Points: in fine unplayed with condition in original red-label Jumeau box, lovely creamy bisque, original wig, body and body finish, wearing antique dress, undergarments, knit stockings, leather shoes signed "Bebe Jumeau", along with a 1888-era photograph of the doll wearing the dress she is still wearing today.
