9" (23 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young lad, his head turned to the side, sculpted brown windblown and rumpled curly hair, enamel inset eyes, partially-parted lips with modeled tongue tip, tow-wrapped posable body, carved wooden arms and legs, wearing simple country costume with homespun pants, laced vest, dark beaded vest, woven leggings, kidskin laced slippers and shoulder bag. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
