15" (38 cm.) All muslin cloth doll with hand-painted facial features, brown eyes, defined nose and brows, lips with center accent line, tuft of blonde hair at forehead, stitch-jointed body. Condition: good, original finish with some fading and dustiness. Comments: Babyland Rag, the first hand-painted model of the classic American cloth doll, circa 1895. Value Points: the appealing doll wears her original cotton dress with Bertha collar and lace bodice, matching sunbonnet and undergarments.
