Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, modeled bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted dark curly lashes, slightly-modeled brushstroked brows with feathering, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded outlined lips, pierced ears, kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque lower arms. Condition: restoration at back and sides of face over hairline, facial complexion and painting is entirely original, left hand restored, original sturdy body. Marks: Bru Jne 5 (head). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882. Value Points: especially beautiful bebe with splendid eyes.
