Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 5 H 1009 dep Germany. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: lovely bisque on the early swivel head doll.
