Bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion, small brown glass sleep eyes in half-moon shape, painted curly upper lashes, black brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with shaded lips, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, black mohair wig, amber tinted composition bent limb baby body, antique silk Chinese baby costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish with light craze lines on the hands. Marks: K made in Germany 14 243 JDK (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912, the firm created a distinctive facial design that was used for this mold number only. Value Points: wonderful modeling and flawless complexion on the artistically-sculpted doll.
