14" (36 cm.) Vinyl socket head with pre-teen hard vinyl body, jointing at waist, shoulders and hips, blue sleep eyes with brush lashes and blue eye shadow, closed mouth, blushing cheeks, tosca saran rooted hair. Wearing yellow embroidered nylon dress with scalloped edge, taffeta slip and bodice trimmed with tricot nylon ruffle and satin bow, white socks, yellow satin slippers with snap buckles, hair bow and original wrist tag and box. Marks: McCall Corp, 1958. Condition: near mint. American Character, Betsy McCall, the costume was named "Birthday Party", 14C, circa 1958.
