Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with very rich amber-tinted complexion, brown glass inset eyes, painted dark lashes, brown brush-stroked brows with defined upper curl at the outer edges, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth sculpted as though open with outlined lips and row of sculpted teeth, pierced ears, French brown composition and wooden fully jointed body, wearing silk jeweled exotic costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Fabrication Francaise Favorite No. 6 Ed. Tasson A.L. & C. Limoges Depose (and red logo stamp). Comments: Lanternier, circa 1910. Value Points: so rare that other models with this unique complexon and painting of brows are not known to exist, with very fine flawless complexion enhanced by delicate blush, original body and body finish.
