21" (53 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly stuffed stitched-on shoulder head having oil-painted curly hair, complexion and facial features, outlined brown eyes, black eyeliner, feathered brows, white eye dots, accent line between the lips, rosy blushed cheeks, sugar sack cloth body with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips of elongated legs, separated fingers, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, circa 1885. Value Points: especially fine artistry of oil-painted features, complexion and expression.
