25" (64 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair in center-part,and casually waved away from face,painted facial features,shaded blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,accented nostrils,one stroke brows,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn on leather boots,leather arms,antique cotton gown,undergarments. Condition: very good,some repair on shoulder plate,slight touch-up on hair. Marks: Greinerås Patent Head Dolls No. 6 (with 1878 extension patent date). Comments: Greiner of Philadelphia,circa 1880. Value Points: good early American doll with original label.
