Pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on bisque shoulder plate,with deposed locking devise allowing the head to turn realistically only side-to-side (rather than complete swivel),cobalt blue glass inset eyes with dreamily-shaped heavy eyelids,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,un-pierced ears,original blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque arms to above the elbows,cupped fingers with defined nails. Condition: generally excellent,tip chipped on right baby finger. Marks: Au Passage Delorme/Rue de Rivoli,Simonne Paris... (stamp on torso). Comments: the poupee was presented by the prestigious Maison Simonne,circa 1865. Value Points: with very rare neck articulation system,luxury body with exquisitely sculpted bisque hands,very beautiful face whose pale bisque is dramatized by brilliant blue eyes,original wig,and beautiful original silk costume,undergarments,heeled boots.
