17" (43 cm.) Gofun finished complexion with eyes painted closed, elaborate black wig in formal arrangement, armature body with carved wooden hands, dressed in most unusual grey kimono and jacket with embroidered fans, draped wide obi, posed on original black lacquer base. Near mint condition. Japanese, Showa era.
