18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, grey glass enamel inset eyes with dark outer rims, accented eye corners and nostrils, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with accented pale lips, pierced ears, kid poupee body with shapely torso, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, gusset jointing at hips and knees, fine antique costume, undergarments, ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent, restoration to bisque hands. Marks: 4 (head and shoulders). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1870. Value Points: beautiful pale bisque with dreamy eyes.
