32" (81 cm.) x 26". The delicate pastel painting of a young child seated on bench,hymnal alongside,with tumbling blonde curls,warm cape,hands in muff,is inspired by the English painting "My First Sermon" by John Millais,circa 1860. The painting is presented in antique walnut frame. Excellent condition. Circa 1865.
