20" (51 cm.) Gofun-finished complexion, very narrow enamel inset eyes, closed mouth, black fiber hair in elaborate arrangement that is drawn away from her face in top wide wings at the sides and captured into a long braid at the back which reaches nearly floor-length, painted detail of stippled hair around the edges, wearing elaborate multi-layered robes, the outer of red brocade with interwoven motif pattern and with matching obi, along with purple kimono with orb symbol, red trousers, red silk slippers, hair ornament and posed upon an original base. Excellent condition, Japan, Showa era.
