28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head, very large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, rose-blushed eye shadow, dark painted curly lashes, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, shaded eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, new brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body, pretty antique cutwork cotton dress, undergarments, ruffled cap, shoes and stockings. Condition: generally excellent, body finish original albeit fingers scuffed at tips. Marks: R. 4 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1884. Value Points: fine quality pale bisque that contrasts nicely with the rich dark eyes and eye decoration, original body and body finish, beautiful dress.
