18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with waved blonde hair drawn from her face and captured in arranged curls at the back, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, sculpted wide stand-up collar with scalloped edging, white beading, and magenta detail, newer muslin body and bisque lower arms, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 135-6. Comments: C.F. Kling, circa 1870, the same model was also made with applied flower decorations in hair. Value Points: rarity factors on the gentle-faced lady include glass eyes and fancy collar.
