14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, eyeliner, painted lashes, widely arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair hand-tied wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed in French style aqua silk frock with braid and bead trim, antique undergarments and leather shoes, and carrying miniature doll. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'honneur (body label). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: pretty bebe in appealing size with fine creamy bisque, original body and body finish.
