9" (23 cm.) Each has shaped kid face with well-defined highly-characterized features, black bead eyes, tinted lips, fleeced hair, shaped wooden and kid body, and original sewn-on costume. Condition: overall excellent with some fading on man. Marks: C.H. White Milton Portsmouth (original paper labels on black-hatted man and woman). Comments: C.H. White, English, early 1800s. Value Points: very rare dolls, each presented as a peddler, and with original baskets and trays of novelties, notions, and decorative objects.
