8 1/2" (22 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper teeth and one lower, brunette human hair, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue socks and black two-strap shoes with decorative bows, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, tiny chip on left leg hip, baby finger missing on right hand. Marks: 886 S 5 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1888. Value Points: rare large size with very fine detail of bisque and painting.
