19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, blonde lambswool wig over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, right thumb tip chipped. Marks: Germany 247 JDK. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful expression with very fine modeling of dimples and laughter lines, very choice bisque.
