Description
6" (15 cm.) and 4 1/2". Each is all bisque with flat-cut neck socket allowing easy articulation of neck, sculpted short brown curly hair, brown or blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, tinted brows, toddler body with loop jointing at shoulders and hips, painted white socks, and pink shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Bonnie Babe, designed by the American artist, Georgene Averill, circa 1920, the doll was made in several variations including this all-bisque version. Value Points: wonderful characterization of laughing toddler with especially fine detail of hair sculpting.
