13" (33 cm.) Firmly-pressed composition socket head with very plump cheeks, textured complexion with rosy cheeks, deeply-defined eye sockets with painted blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with firm expression, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, probable touch-up to lips. Comments: from the series of dolls introduced at the Munich Art Fair in 1908 from the Marion Kaulitz art studios. Value Points: rare size of the pivotal character doll with excellent detail of eye sculpting, original body and body finish, antique knit costume.
