Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume (few moth holes). Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 2 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: fine creamy bisque beautifully contrasts the brilliant blue eyes, original body and body finish.
