Bisque socket head with brown complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, black brushstroked brows, painted brown complexion, coral shaded nostrils, closed mouth with coral shaded lips, pierced ears, brown composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: rare brown-complexioned model of the beloved early closed mouth Kestner child has flawless bisque, original body and body finish. Private collection Lorna Lieberman.
